Kade Ruotolo, the returning champion at -77kg, has been officially invited to the ADCC World Championships. Kade's 2022 run was the most successful ADCC debut in history, winning the gold medal with a 100% submission rate. This will be his second appearance at ADCC Worlds.

Kauã Gabriel, student of Melqui Galvão and teammate of "Baby Shark" Diogo Reis, has been officially invited to the ADCC World Championships. Kauã has made the finals of the last three ADCC South American Trials at -66kg, but came up short every time. This will be his first appearance at ADCC Worlds.

Veteran champions Felipe Pena and Rafael Lovato Jr. are set to face off at WNO 23 in a heavyweight no-gi super fight. The two WNO veterans have won at the highest levels throughout their careers and both are ranked in the top-10 in the world for no-gi grappling.

Ethan Crelinsten of the B-Team will be returning to the biggest tournament in grappling, as he has been officially invited to compete in the 2024 ADCC World Championships. The tournament, happening August 17th & 18th in Las Vegas, NV, will be Ethan's third appearance at the ADCC Worlds after previously winning the North American Trials.

IBJJF Champion and ADCC veteran Mayssa Bastos will be going back to the ADCC World Championships, as she has been officially invited in the -55kg division. Bastos previously won the South American Trials in 2022 before losing first round at -60kg. She regularly competes at roosterweight and light-feather in IBJJF competition, 47.5 & 52.5kg.

The ADCC West Coast Trials is going down this weekend in Las Vegas, NV, as over 1,000 grapplers take their shot at being one of the 8 to win their division and advance to the ADCC World Championships. This is one of the toughest tournaments in the world and with so much at stake there are dozens of elite grapplers in the mix.

Jonnatas Gracie is officially on his way to the next ADCC World Championships, accepting the organization's invitation to compete in the -77kg division. This will mark Gracie's 1st appearance at the tournament.

The controversial submission hunter Jasmine Rocha will return at WNO 23 to take on veteran Emily Ferreira in fifteen minute super fight action. The match will take place in Emily's home state of Texas, in Arlington on May 10th. Both women have scored WNO wins in the past and are ranked in the top-10 in the world for no-gi grappling.

The 2022 ADCC Champion Diogo "Baby Shark" Reis will make his return to the WNO stage at WNO 23 when he takes on rising Scottish grappling star Shay Montague. The featherweight tilt will be Baby Shark's first match since losing his WNO Championship by injury, and Montague's WNO debut. WNO 23 will be going down May 10th in Arlington, TX.

Mackenzie Dern will make her return to submission grappling in 2024, as she has accepted an invitation to compete in the -55kg division at the ADCC World Championships. The UFC contender has previously won the tournament in 2015, before her transition to full-time MMA.

No-gi grappling stars JT Torres and Nicky Ryan are set to face off at WNO 23 in a welterweight clash. Both men have recently been invited to compete in the -77kg division at ADCC Worlds later this year, and both are ranked in the top-15 in the world at 170lbs. This will be the first meeting between the two grappling stars.

ADCC East Coast Trials Champion Dorian Olivarez was able to win a junior folkstyle national championship over the weekend, defeating #1 Pierson Manville 2-1 in a close match to cap off a dark horse run to first place. The win came in the U20 144lb bracket, which featured multiple nationally-ranked high school wrestlers. Dorian, still only high school age, will be competing in the ADCC World Championships later this year in the -66kg division.

Mica Galvão is wasting no time in making his next defense of his WNO Welterweight Championship, as he has agreed to face Tommy Langaker for the title at WNO 23, May 10th in Arlington, TX. This will mark Galvão's third defense of the belt, after previously defeating Kody Steele and Kenta Iwamoto.

Tye Ruotolo is officially on his way to the next ADCC World Championships, accepting the organization's invitation to compete in the -88kg division. This will mark Tye's 3rd appearance at the tournament after earning a bronze medal in the absolute class in 2022.

In an exciting development, 3-time ADCC World Medalist and Hall of Fame inductee Baret Yoshida has entered a stacked -66kg division at ADCC West Coast Trials - a division with over 200 people and climbing. Baret is a fan-favorite competitor, known for his crucifix and high finishing rate, who last medaled in ADCC competition at the 2007 World Championships.
