The IBJJF has officially released the brackets for the 2022 No-Gi Pan Championships, which begins on Friday, October 14.

The IBJJF’s medium heavyweight division has always garnered some of the most fan friendly athletes. At 188-lbs, these competitors have the perfect blend of explosiveness and braun mixed with agility, technique and precision.

The IBJJF FloGrappling Grand Prix is coming to Austin, TX on October 28 for a night of elite level grappling. The event will feature two four-person grand prix brackets as well as three premiere superfights.

This year's IBJJF World Championships was one of the most highly anticipated of all time. And it delivered, with amazing matchups, budding rivalries, and hours of great jiu-jitsu. In retrospect, it was also a historic year for the event. The 26th edition of IBJJF Worlds saw records broken and history made across the black belt divisions. On the heels of his 2022 IBJJF World Championships bronze medal, Ronaldo Junior collected a big cash prize at EUG 4. Coming out on top of an eight-man black belt grand prix at Evolve Ur Game 4, the Atos black belt secured the $10,000 grand prize defeating Shane Shapiro, Alexandre Jesus, and 2019 Pans and European champion Levi Jones-Leary in the process.

EUG — Evolve Ur Game — will bring the gi back to Las Vegas for the promotion’s fourth installment, an eight man 180 lb Grand Prix featuring two of the world’s premiere middleweights.

The stacked black belt divisions have been whittled down to just eight men and just two women each. By the end of the day, nineteen IBJJF Pans black belt champions will be crowned.
