This year's IBJJF World Championships was one of the most highly anticipated of all time. And it delivered, with amazing matchups, budding rivalries, and hours of great jiu-jitsu. In retrospect, it was also a historic year for the event. The 26th edition of IBJJF Worlds saw records broken and history made across the black belt divisions. The 1st South American ADCC Trials delivered. Five divisions produced champions who are now qualified to compete at the 2022 ADCC World Championships in Las Vegas in September, and each of those champions fought through deep brackets to earn their spots.

The 2021 IBJJF American National Championships begin on Thursday June 24. The black belts take the mats on Friday, June 25, and switch into no-gi attire on Saturday, June 25.
