Jeff Glover Post Match Interview: 'I Was Confident After The First Scramble'

Sep 11, 2016

Saturday night's Fight to Win Pro 11 main event saw Jeff Glover and Justin Rader put on a show for the Oklahoma crowd. The Paragon black belt was able to utilize his unconventional style and flow form submission to submission throughout the entire match. Although Rader never appeared to be in serious danger it was Glover who was creating scrambles and attempting more submissions. Both men had bright spots throughout the match but Glover was confident he had it in the bag.

I was confident after the first scramble. The first scramble I had like 4 submission attempts and he just escaped them. Which is a thing to be awarded for but I think submissions are more important. I knew at least half way through the match I was winning.
Jeff Glover won a unanimous decision over Justin Rader, avenging a loss from five years ago. Watch the entire match here.
