In an exciting development, 3-time ADCC World Medalist and Hall of Fame inductee Baret Yoshida has entered a stacked -66kg division at ADCC West Coast Trials - a division with over 200 people and climbing. Baret is a fan-favorite competitor, known for his crucifix and high finishing rate, who last medaled in ADCC competition at the 2007 World Championships.

After three years of anticipation, the biggest submission wrestling event ever has arrived. The 2022 ADCC World Championships goes down in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept 18, after a long season of preparation, qualification and grueling training.

The ADCC World Championships are now just three weeks away, and many of the athletes qualified or invited to compete in the anticipated biggest event in history are taking their last chances to test their games on the competition mats. Whether or not you believe in “American Jiu-Jitsu” exists separate from “Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,” several individual Americans have made their marks on the world of submission grappling. If in no other way, Americans have at least impacted the history books.
