Main Event: Manuel Ribamar vs Jonatha Alves
Nobody had more momentum coming into 2020 than Manuel Ribamar.
The 2019 no-gi world champ followed up that success with a spectacular performance that the 2020 European Championships one month later – nobody was able to score a single point on him as he marched towards the middleweight title in Lisbon, earning his second major IBJJF title as a black belt.
Then the world was turned upside and his rocket ship to the top of the rankings was delayed . . . but Riba is back!
Ribamar will be taking on one of the AOJ’s brightest young black belt prospects, Johnatha Alves. Despite only having two matches under his belt as a black belt (a delay to the circumstances of the world we live in), the 21-year-old has already made a very strong impression on the jiu-jitsu world.
Just weeks after earning the silver medal at the 2018 World Championships as a brown belt, Jonatha shocked the world by besting legendary Paulo Moyao at the Spyder Championships.
He is a berimbolo machine, and very few are capable of shutting down the explosive inversions and creative entries the Mendes Brothers black belt presents.

Co-Main: Rafael Lovato Jr. vs Helton Junior
Lovato Jr. isn’t wasting any time getting back on the horse after a tough loss to Lucas "Hulk" Barbosa at Fight To Win 145.
The decorated jiu-jitsu competitor noted that the jump up in competition against some like Hulk took him out of his comfort zone and acted as a wake-up call, and we're certain the Six Blades / Lovato Jiu-jitsu Black Belt is going to come out guns blazing in this match.
Helton Junior may not be the most widely known Atos representative, but he should absolutely be considered a threat to anyone standing across from him on the mats
Junior has a very very unorthodox game. He is a submission hunter who can catch most competitors if they are not crossing their T's and dotting those I's, but Lovato's game is as close to perfect as it gets, so we'll see what happens.
Must Watch: Luiza Monteiro vs Elisabeth Clay
The matchup between Elisabeth Clay and Luiza Monteiro is a perfect example of Fight To Win making matches you can't find anywhere else.
Luiza Monteiro is a three-time no-gi world champion, but she last pulled off the feat in 2014 and has since been hyper-focused on the gi (she's also captured two world titles there.)
On the other hand, Elisabeth Clay is one of jiu-jitsu's fastest rising stars; she is already the youngest competitor to win ADCC trials – something she pulled of at just 15 years of age. Clay has steadily been conquering some of the biggest names in jiu-jitsu today.
