Meregali faces rival Kaynan Duarte in the co-main event at Tezos WNO 19: Meregali vs. Duarte on Aug. 10 in Austin, Texas at the Palmer Center.
Duarte and Meregali have chirped at one another for more than a year and last summer Duarte issued a challenge to Meregali at WNO.
He accepted, and now the two former IBJJF World Champions and 2022's No.1 heavyweight and No.1 super heavyweight will go head-to-head.

Only Tainan Dalpra was ranked higher in the pound-for-pound Gi Black Belt Rankings in 2022 than Meregali. The Brazilian grappler finished the year ranked No.1 in the super heavyweight division.
