Grappling @GeorgesStPierre will be a huge challenge & great motivation.
You GSP are one of the greatest competitors ever, whom I respect a lot. I’m game! Looking forward to competing at @ufc invitational.
Georges is a two-weight world champion in the UFC, winning titles at both welterweight and middleweight before his retirement. "Rush" is a black belt and long-time disciple of John Danaher, and has trained regularly with grapplers like Gordon Ryan for many years. This is his first action since he vacated the UFC middleweight championship after winning it with a rear naked choke over Michael Bisping.
Georges was originally announced for the event on July 6th, after the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4 event.
