Road To Gold: Ffion Davies Wins Four To Become the UK's IBJJF World Championships

Ffion Davies became the first-ever UK world champion after powering her way through one of the toughest lightweight divisions we’ve seen in years.

The Welsh competitor had rounded out her world's training camp at Essential jiu-jitsu with JT Torres at the helm, and the time spent in New York certainly seemed to pay off.

When the dust had settled, Davies had torn her way through four game competitors before claiming her space at the top of the IBJJF 2022 World Championship podium.
