Tim Spriggs Goes Into The Lion's Den To Face Cyborg at Fight to Win 161
Cyborg will face off with Tim Spriggs at Fight to Win 161, here's how you can watch it live or on demand on FloGrappling.
What do you get when you put one of the grittiest no-gi grapplers in America against the 2020 Male Grappler of the Year? Hopefully fireworks! ADCC Trials winner and IBJJF World No-Gi champion Tim Spriggs will go up in weight to challenge the living legend Roberto Cyborg Abreu at Fight to Win 161.
Spriggs means business
Spriggs is one of the toughest and nastiest no-gi competitors in the USA. The self-proclaimed "mush-master" cruised to IBJJF World No-Gi gold in 2018 and stormed through the competition to win the ADCC East Coast Trials in 2019. He nearly decapitated Fellipe Andrew with a flying guillotine at ADCC, a warning for any opponent who is careless enough to leave their necks hanging out.

The King of Miami
Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu needs little introduction. He is an ADCC Absolute champion, IBJJF World No-Gi champion and one of the toughest men active on the grappling scene. Cyborg, who turned 40 last year, had one of the best years of his career and went undefeated in no-gi competition throughout 2020. He won the KASAI Heavyweight GP, beat ADCC medalists Vinicius "Trator" and Lucas Hulk Barbosa in submission-only matches, won the 3CG Heavyweight Kumite and even submitted 2019 ADCC champ Kaynan Duarte.
Unstoppable in 2020
There is a lot on the line in this match. Spriggs is going into the lion's den, as Miami is Cyborg's adopted hometown and he will undoubtedly have a huge vocal crowd supporting him. Cyborg will need to bring his A-game, because Spriggs thrives on being the bad guy and will want to leave the mat with his hand raised, but he'll want to put on a show at Cyborg's expense, too.
Cyborg vs Spriggs will be the main event of Fight to Win 161 which goes down on Jan 22, 2021. Watch it live or on demand only on FloGrappling.
