After the huge news the other day about the no time limit, submission-only match going down between Gordon Ryan and Ronaldo Junior at WNO on July 31st, we are back with another mega match announcement, and we're not finished yet. We already teased on social media that "Your Mom's Favorite Grappler," Garry Tonon, will be joining his Danaher Death Squad teammate on the card next Friday. But who is Garry going against?

Garry Tonon vs Dante Leon Coming On July 31st!

In a matchup of two of the top-ranked 77kg no-gi grapplers in the world, Dante Leon will be looking to avenge his loss in the bronze medal match at ADCC 2019. Since ADCC, Dante has racked up an 11-1 record, won No-Gi Worlds, defeated Renato Canuto, and won by submission over Isaque Bahiense and Johnny Tama. 

Garry has not been as active in grappling while he focuses on his MMA career, but has still gone 2-0 in F2W  since ADCC. Those two matches were a dominant decision over ADCC champion Davi Ramos and a heelhook victory on No-Gi World champion Osvaldo Queixinho. Considered by many to be the most exciting grappler in the sport, Garry always brings the intensity and a match between him and Dante is sure to be electrifying.

This match will be 15 minutes long and take place under F2W submission only rules, with a referee decision at the end of regulation if time expires. Both men are submission hunters though, and I have a feeling we will not make it the entire 15 minutes to send it to the judges. You are not going to want to miss this!
