Main Event: Queixinho Throws The Kitchen Sink At Agazarm

The main event tonight saw one of jiu-jitsu’s most polarizing figures, AJ Agazarm, take on the veteran Osvaldo ‘Queixinho’ Moiznho in a gi match – and it was basically one-way traffic from start to finish.

Queixinho was the dominant force in this match.  The Ares BJJ leader was able to attack with all of his signature moves and controlled the pace from the opening whistle to the closing bell.

We saw strong omoplatas, loop chooks,  brabo chokes, armbar attempts, and so much more, all of which seemed deep enough to finish a lesser opponent than Agazarm.

We have to give credit where credit is due, and despite being in fully locked out armbars and chokes, Agazarm's superb defense skills were on full display as he Houdinied his way out of the myriad attacks thrown at him this evening.

However, grit and defense alone aren't enough to win a decision at Fight To Win though, and Queixinho was awarded the victory via unanimous judges' decision.

Co-Main: Gabriel Almedia Slides Past Roberto Jimenez Via Split Decision

This was one of the most hotly anticipated matches coming into the weekend, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

Almeida opened up the match with a lighting-fast flying triangle attack, and though Jimenez was able to escape, he remained one step behind for the rest of the match, unable to reverse the momentum and get ahead on the judge scorecards.

It was a back and forth war, with solid attacks from both athletes, but Gabriel Almeida was able to secure the win via referees' decision after the time expired.

For his part, Jimenez had some decent toehold and back attacks, but it was ultimately Almedia's early offense that convinced the judges to give him the 'w'.
