Keenan Cornelius vs Roberto Jimenez Superfight Set For Who's #1!
Keenan Cornelius will face off with one of the best young athletes in the sport on February 8 at Who's #1.
We are happy to announce our second main event for Who’s #1, taking place on February 8 in Costa Mesa, CA. All fights will be streamed live on FloGrappling and tickets are available on flograpplingtix.com.
The second main event will be a heavyweight showdown between Keenan Cornelius and Roberto Jimenez. The three-time Pan champion Cornelius will face off against one of the most promising young heavyweights in Jimenez, who recently received his black belt after winning the open class as a brown belt at No-Gi Worlds.
What Is Who's #1?
This fight will accompany the match of Nicholas Meregali vs Victor Hugo as our co-main events. Sticking with the theme of highlighting the colored belts, we have selected four of the most accomplished colored belts of this decade for the black belt superfights in Keenan, Nicholas, Victor, and Roberto.
Who’s # 1 will feature 12 superfights contested by the top-ranked colored belts out there. The night will be capped off by the Meregali vs Hugo and Cornelius vs Jimenez superfights. All the action will take place at The Hangar in Costa Mesa; if you will be in town for Kids Pans make sure to buy a ticket and head over to watch this action afterward.
