Goodell Gets Back to Back Fight 2 Win Submission Victories
Tracey Goodell won the Masters Bantamweight title belt in impressive fashion in her second Fight 2 Win match in two weeks.
Headling F2W 101 in Denver CO, Tracey Goodell submitted Vanessa Wexler in impressive fashion to win the Masters Bantamweight title belt in her second Fight 2 Win match in two weeks.
Following on from her submission of Rita Gribben at F2W 100 in her native Hawaii, Goodell followed it up with another main event appearance, this time taking on Coloradan Wexler in Denver.
The two black belt felt each other out from the double guard pull with Wexler electing to come up to pass. Goodell hit an omoplata sweep that had Wexler rolling out and briefly played from top but Wexler came back up. Switching to the closed guard, Goodell reached up with a deep collar grip and slapped on a fast loop choke that forced Wexler to tap. Goodell now has a perfect Fight 2 Win record of 4-0.
The submission of the night went to Vellore Caballero for his electric chair in his match with Sergio Castillo.
