We've called Spyder the hottest professional jiu-jitsu event in Asia, and with good reason– the event pulls no punches when building out the brackets and inviting top athletes from around the world.

A key feature of the Spyder Championships is that they include elite purple, brown and black belts together, creating matchups and challenges currently unavailable in other promotions. 

This season's opening event sees IBJJF World champion Claudio Calasans and Worlds silver medalist Marcos Tinoco, No-Gi World Champion Tim Spriggs and KASAI Pro champion Matheus Diniz in the same bracket as brown belt phenom Roberto Jimenez, and even the 2019 IBJJF European purple belt champion Anderson Munis. 

A similar story is present in the 76kg division. Spyder has also invited legendary Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes, Lucas Rocha, Mathias Luna and the breakout star of 2019 and European Champion, Levi Jones-Leary, to the 76kg division. It also features KASAI standout and MONSTER brown belt Matheus Lutes, who will take on rising GF Team purple belt Daniel Sathler in the opening round.
