The 10-man high-stakes jiu-jitsu tournament King of Mats Los Angeles offered a cool $10,000 for the overall winner, but an extra $1000 for whoever got the best submission of the tournament. 

The three submissions we identified as the most spectacular were: 

• Rudson Matheus's armlock over Alexandro Ceconi
• Ricardo Evangelista's toehold versus Tanner Rice 
• Erberth Santos's wristlock against Alexandro Ceconi

We left the decision up to the fans, and they voted Erberth Santos's wristlock as the best submission fro the King of Mats Los Angeles. 

The results were: 

1. Erberth Santos's wristlock 62.31%
2. Ricardo Evangelista's toehold 29.04%
3. Rudson Mateus's armlock 8.65%
