AJ Agazarm joined the party and signed up for No-Gi Pans in the ultra-heavyweight division – and he says he’s not even joking around. 

“I’d be happy to welcome Gordon back to IBJJF competition,” said Agazarm. “He hasn’t competed in IBJJF for how long? Let’s see how he does in the black belt division.” 

Agazarm is a World No-Gi champion, a four-time European No-Gi champion (including one absolute division win), a Brazilian No-Gi champion and an ADCC silver medalist. 

The lightweight grappler has made a name for himself taking on opponents on all sizes. In the last few years he has faced Dillon Danis, super-heavyweight World champion Mahamed Aly, UFC fighter Gilbert Burns, former 185lb MMA fighter Phil Baroni and many more. Nearly half of his career matches as a black belt have been in the open division.
