The event offers competitors to start accumulating points for the UAEJJF ranking, which last year paid out $25,000 for the no.1 male black belt, and $5,000 for the top-ranked black belt from each continental region; a real incentive for athletes to compete consistently throughout the season, which ends in April 2019 at the Abu Dhabi World Pro.
