Edmaicon Moraes beat Gerson Atoigue in the 150lb black belt gi main event at Fight To Win Pro 65 this evening. It was a completely action-packed night in Dallas, TX, with the first 11 of 12 matches ending by submission, and only fitting that the main event finish in the same fashion.
Atoigue came out firing right off the bat with a flying triangle attempt, but fell to guard and quickly started working worm guard to slow his opponent’s advances.
The Roots CTA black belt seemed in control of the match, shutting down Moraes with the lapel weave and eventually sweeping him overhead via balloon sweep.
