Justin Rader is bad, bad man.
Justin Rader is bad, bad man.
The Lovato Jr. black belt has a game tailor-made for submission only rules – great wrestling, an endless gas tank, and the squeeze of an anaconda; tonight at Fight To Win Pro 63, Justin only needed two of those assets.
He hit a nice single leg early in the match to get the game moving on the ground. After working to pass Vernon's guard for several minutes, Rader sensed an opening and threw himself on a diving guillotine. The immense strength of Rader's choke was perceptible to anyone watching: Vernon's legs writhed in discomfort as he wildly tried to buck Rader off before being forced to tap, giving Rader yet another F2W Pro victory.
Co-Main: Delgado vs French
The co-main event saw American BJJ pioneer Roli Delgado take on Omar French. The opening minutes of the match was a tactical grip war until Delgado settled in on an ankle lock. French, working for a calf-slicer himself, was unable to turn the situation in his favor and Delago was able to finish the submission after a crucial grip switch.
