Diego Gamonal and Rodrigo Pinheiro, two leaders in the Texas jiu-jitsu community, met tonight in San Antonio for Fight To Win Pro 46.
Both men have storied careers and numerous accolades, including previous victories on the Fight To Win Pro stage -but tonight, only one could walk away the victor.

The match was measured from the bell; Pinheiro pushed the pace with takedown attempts, but was unable to take the fight to the ground for the first 7 minutes. Gamonal sought to change things up in the final moments of the fight and pulled guard, but was unable to secure the sweep. Ultimately, the judges agreed that Pinheiro was pushing the pace throughout the match and was awarded the victory.
Fight To Win is heading to Houston, TX next week with an excellent line up of local talent. The promotion will be donating all proceeds for the second show in a row to harvey relief efforts.
