Fight to Win Pro 38 is almost here, and you are able to watch all the action live right here on FloGrappling on Friday, June 30. The Sacramento, California, event is going to be packed with exciting matches; here are just a few you should make sure to watch:
5. Marcos Torregrosa vs. Chris Coldiron
Torregrosa rocked the Masters' division in 2012 when he became a world champion in his division in both gi and no-gi. He is going up against Coldiron, who's an active competitor from the Checkmat team, in a 170lb gi match.
4. Paul Nava vs. Sergio Silva
In the F2W circuit, Nava is probably best known for his defeat of Kurt Osiander back at Fight to Win Pro 23. Now we'll see if he can deliver an equally successful performance against fourth-degree black belt Sergio Silva.
3. Eliot Kelly vs. Luke Stewart
Kelly, a black belt under Torregrosa, has an extensive record that includes a win at the 2016 US ADCC Trials. Stewart, who's a Strikeforce veteran and a Ralph Gracie black belt, is a tough-as-nails MMA fighter and full-time tattooist.
2. Dustin Akbari vs. Gianni Grippo
A formidable wrestler, Akbari emerged victorious over Bill Cooper in the main event of F2W 16, but he's got submissions to boot. Grippo, who's the current lightweight gi champion and recently tore through the New York Spring Interantional Open no-gi absolute division, is known for his intensity -- watch out for this crazy clash of styles.
1. Caio Terra vs. Kristian Woodmansee
Multiple-time world champion Terra had a very successful F2W Pro debut against Jeff Curran in April, and now he's making his return against former brown belt world champion Woodmansee, a black belt from Atos. Their match will be a fight to see who will own the 135lb black belt gi title, and with two very accomplished competitors putting it on the line, it's up in the air who will walk away the victor.
Fight to Win Pro 38 streams live on FloGrappling on June 30 starting at 6 PM Pacific Time.
