Justin Rader Becomes New Lightweight No-Gi Champion At Fight To Win Pro 35
Fight to Win Pro 35 didn’t leave anyone disappointed in Dallas, especially with an intense back-and-forth main event between Justin Rader and Bruno Frazatto that was packed with close calls.
Fight to Win Pro 35 didn’t leave anyone disappointed in Dallas, especially with an intense back-and-forth main event between Justin Rader and Bruno Frazatto that was packed with close calls.
The match started out with Rader focusing on takedowns and defending a guillotine before Frazatto pulled guard. Rader attempted an estima lock and then a toe hold against his opponent before both men attempted toe holds against each other. Frazatto tried to land an inverted heel hook on his opponent, but Rader was able to slip out in time. The match ended with Rader defending a back take from Frazatto. When it was all over, the judges awarded the victory to Rader by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event, Gabriel “Fedor” Lucas won by unanimous decision over James Puopolo.
