Felipe Pena Vs Xande Ribeiro
Though not guaranteed, a match between Felipe Pena could see two of the best athletes representing the gentle art go head to head. Xande is coming off of a beautiful performance against Erberth Santos, while Felipe Pena had his biggest win in the absolute final of the Abu Dhabi World Pro. Look for fireworks in this match.
Roberto Satoshi vs Anyone
Satoshi is positively one of the most entertaining jiu-jitsu athletes on the planet. An ultra-egressive finisher, Satoshi is not afraid to mix in flying attacks along side an nearly unstoppable a modern passing style. His guard game isn't too shabby either.
Jose Junior vs Ricardo Evangelista
Both of these men are stand out performers representing on the UAEJJF and put on an exhilarating match the last time they met. The no closeouts rule employed by the association means that they will have to throw down again should they make their through the brackets again.
Tara White vs Nathiely Jesus
These two met at the Grand Slam event in Los Angeles back in September and it was a match to remember. Tara White's seemingly limitless endurance and aggression pushed Nathiely's guard to its limits and made for an incredible clash of styles. Nathiely was able to submit Tara with a crafty leg lock late in the match, which surely left Tara hungry for redemption.
Gabriel Arges vs Faisal Al Ketbi
Though rarely seen outside of UAEJJF events, make no mistake because Faisal is legit. He had hard fought matches against Keenan Cornelius at the World Pro and regularly makes podium appearances amongst the most elite of BJJ athletes. Gabriel Arges is nearly a house-hold name in jiu-jitsu at this point, and has looked absolutely unstoppable for the all of 2016. An absolute match-up between these two would be something to remember.
