The 2024 IBJJF Brasileiro Championships began on April 20 and after a week of grappling the Black Belts matches have finally arrived. 

Thousands of athletes in Brazil have competed in juvenile, masters and adult divisions in Sao Paulo, Brazil and on April 27, the country’s elite adult black belts, featuring the sport’s biggest names such as Mica Galvao (men’s middleweight), Mayssa Bastos (women’s light-feather) and the jiu-jitsu phenom Gabrieli Pessanha (women's super-heavy).
