Just moments after his inaugural title defense at Tezos WNO 21, Mica Galvao's next title challenger was revealed when Nicky Ryan took the mats for a face off between the two young phenoms. They will face each other at WNO 22 for the WNO Welterweight Championship, taking place on Feb.9 in Costa Mesa, California. More updates to the card are forthcoming.

Mica Galvao had a busy night, first facing Kody Steele in the first defense of his WNO title. After a furious pace, Mica won the match by submission in a contest that featured some wild scrambles and big throws.

After the match, Mica welcomed Nicky Ryan onto the mats and accepted his challenge for a championship match this February. Both athletes were respectful towards one another during the face off.

WNO 22 will take place Feb. 9 in Costa Mesa, California. Costa Mesa is in the middle of one of Brazilian jiu-jitsu's most talent-rich areas so fans should expect a great show in front of a great crowd of grappling fans.
