Top grapplers Elisabeth Clay & Brianna Ste-Marie are set to clash for the women's featherweight WNO Championship at Tezos WNO 20: Night of Champions, in a night featuring six championship bouts on the main card. October 1st's bout will mark the first meeting between the two highly credentialed black belts, both known for aggressive, fan-friendly, submission-focused styles.

Elisabeth Clay (Ares BJJ) is the current reigning IBJJF No-Gi World absolute champion and the FloGrappling No.2 pound-for-pound no-gi grappler only behind Ffion Davies. A win here could catapult her to the top overall spot. Her 2023 has included victories over both the 2022 ADCC World Champions Amy Campo and Ffion Davies, as well as gold medals at IBJJF No-Gi American Nationals and IBJJF Pans. Her most recent WNO action was a decision loss to women's grappling legend Bia Mesquita.

Brianna Ste-Marie (Brazilian Top Team) is set for her first action since the IBJJF Worlds, where she medaled at lightweight. The 2022 ADCC silver medalist is also a 2022 IBJJF No-Gi World Champion and the current No.4 pound-for-pound in FloGrappling's rankings. The Canadian standout is still only two years into her black belt career and is continuing to blaze a trail of success to the top. Her most recent WNO match was a decision victory over world champion Mayssa Bastos.

Tezos WNO 20: Night of Champions presented by Fat Tire will take place in Houston, TX on Sunday, Oct. 1. Tickets are on sale now to watch it live in person at the Bayou Music Center. This week, FloGrappling will release matchups including title defenses and vacant title brackets.
