Day 1 of the IBJJF World Championships started off strong as Marcio "The Crazy Dog" Italo faces James Harlee Cash Burgess on the mat. 

The IBJJF Worlds is one of the most prestigious jiu-jitsu events of the year and the grapplers are ready to make their mark. The tournament is happening from June 1-4 at The Pyramid in Long Beach, California.

Thursday's exciting matches are setting the tone for the championship as every grappler is fighting hard to earn a champion title. Thursday's schedule is the first round for the adult male division of blue and black belts of every weight class.
