Gordon Ryan and Felipe Pena will meet for the fourth time in their careers on February 25th at WNO in Costa Mesa. One of the biggest grudge matches in the sport, Felipe currently holds a 2-1 lead in the series after winning the first two meetings. Neither of these athletes is ever one to shy away from discussing the other, here is what they both had to say less than two months out from their match for the WNO heavyweight title:

"The match on February 25th is strange because Felipe seems so confident, but every time I ask him for 10-1 odds he just refuses to give it to me. It's weird how some people act confident and other people actually are confident. The fans can expect the same thing they watched last time. It's a no time limit match so it's going to be very slow paced. Probably a longer match. I know 100% of Felipe's game now so it will be easier for me to figure out how to approach this match and deal with his style, how to tire him out more quickly. He will be coming in bigger and stronger, he won't be underestimating me this time. It will be, in a sense, one of the biggest fights of my life if not the biggest. Because if we tie, then it's 2-2 and we have to have a rubber match, but if he beats me he can retire from jiu-jitsu and go to MMA. So I think this is one of the biggest rematches in the history of the sport." Gordon Ryan

"The fans and everyone who like jiu-jitsu and grappling can expect one of the best matches ever in history. You definitely don't want to miss that. I want to prove that my jiu-jitsu is way better than Gordon's. That when I am well trained I can beat anyone in this world. Gordon has no idea what is coming for him, and I just hope he doesn't pull out and he shows up, because he has no idea what is coming." Felipe Pena
